A Draftbooster chimney fan fits on the very top of your flue installation and reduces particles and smoke in the room as well as soot deposits on the windows of the wood-burning stove. Installing a Draftbooster chimney fan is relatively easy and can be done without skilled assistance. All sheet parts are made from stainless steel EN1.4301/AAISI304. A black powder coated version is also available - select from the drop down box above.
In use, the Draftbooster is either running at full speed, or it is turned off. If, during operation, the draught (in the heated-up chimney) becomes too intense you can turn off the fan (using the remote control supplied).
On the device is an integrated operating switch to turn the fan on or off (requires an electrical connection leading from the device on top of the chimney stack/twin wall pipe to an electrical socket/supply). The fan can also be activated on/off within the home using the remote control provided.
This device is not suitable for use with stoves with an output in excess of 8kw.
