As from 2020 and aside from the fact that the new Mk-III is 2022 Eco Design Compliant and is Class 'A+' rated, the main difference is that the Arundel Mk-III now has a fixed grate. There is virtually no change aesthetically, and internally the stove now has a slightly different and more efficient vermiculite tile arrangement.

The Portway Arundel 4.9kw is a DEFRA approved multifuel stove manufactured using high grade steel and with a modern design. This model of stove has a strong efficiency rating of 78%.

All Portway stoves come with a 5 year warranty period. As a rough guide, this stove's output is suitable for a room measuring in the region of 18ft (L) X 17ft (W) X 8ft (H) non-open plan with average insulation properties.
