Description

This Westfire Series One Wood Burning Stove is a high quality and versatile wood burning stove from the world renowned Danish manufacturer. A very popular wood burning stove that also come in a pedestal version. With state of the art clean burn technology, high build quality and attention to detail with the finishing, tough 5mm steel body and a closed combustion option for houses without air bricks. This Westfire Series One also comes packed with technology, with an inner firebox chamber that is separate from the outer body of the stove, enabling the body of the stove to remain cooler whilst the heat is deflected out of the stove into the room. The result is excellent efficiency ratings of 80% meaning that this stove will cost less in fuel, be less wasteful and polluting as well as giving maximum heat to the room.

As a rough guide, this stove's output is suitable for a room measuring in the region of 18ft (L) X 17ft (W) X 8ft (H) non-open plan with average insulation properties.

Important Note: Westfire stoves feature a male spigot as an outlet collar and require an additional Continental Stove Adapter or Double Socket Adaptor in the relevant diameter to connect standard single wall stove pipes.

Warranty

Westfire stoves have a five-year manufacturer’s warranty against material faults and other manufacturing defects. Your receipt document is the date of purchase. The warranty will only apply if they receive the duly completed registration card within two weeks of purchase. The manufacturer’s warranty covers the body of the stove only for five calendar years. Components that are subject to wear and tear (also referred to as perishable, moveable or consumable parts) through the standard operation of the stove are not covered by this warranty.

These include (but not limited to) the following:

Grate Assemblies, Fire Bars, Glass & Glass Assemblies, Rope Seals, Baffle Plate, Ash Tray, Insulating Fire Bricks, Operational Handles, Detachable Legs. Westfire will also not cover damage resulting from any of the following: Installation or usage other than described in the user manual, Local conditions i.e. chimney / flue issues, Over firing, Usage of wrong fuel, Modifications, Transit of the stove.

The stove installation must be signed off (certified) by a registered installer, Building Control Body or local authority to validate the manufacturer’s warranty and serviced within twelve months of installation by the before mentioned. The warranty is null and void if this is not adhered to. The warranty is also void if the stove is installed without legs. The cost of installing replacement items and all consequential costs are at the customer’s expense.
