For optimal performance, hardwood is the ideal fuel for wood-burning stoves, including varieties such as Ash, Birch, Maple, Oak, and various fruit tree woods. Hardwood logs burn for extended periods and generate ample heat. To achieve the cleanest burn time and maximum efficiency, we recommend using kiln-dried natural hardwood logs. Dry firewood or seasoned wood fuel consists of logs that are ready to burn, having been stored for at least six months or dried in the open air.
